5 Awesome Skyrim Mods

I recently had my Skyrim Legendary edition modlist crap out with crashes so bad I had to reinstall it and most of my mods and even replace my mod organizer 2 with the easier to use Vortex, I think am either finally going to stick with a single character or give up modding Skyrim and start playing one of my other games. I was thinking that I’d make a post about game mods since there are a few mods in my current Skyrim load order that I like and would like to talk about.
Vokrii - Minimalistic Perks of Skyim by EnaiSiaion
Let’s start with my new favorite perk overhaul mod Vokrii, a minimalist mod that seeks to improve the stale vanilla perk trees by replacing the dumb multi-investing perks for the same effect as Vokrii’s one time taken perks that scale as the skill levels. The old vanilla perk trees used to be just static upgrades that make your character better but required multiple perk points for the same effect as a single scaling perk. Despite its improvements on my Skyrim experience. It also has unique perks like allowing lightly armored characters to become a brawler with scaling damage based on stamina. There were also cool directional and even sprinting perks for two-handed weapons opening up new ways to attack as a two-handed warrior. I respect all of EnaiSiaion’s mods for bringing new playstyles in Skyrim but as of late I long for more vanilla plus-like mods for Skyrim This Perk overhaul mod is a must-have for me.
CASM - Cipscis’ Automatic Save Manager by Cipscis
This mod is a lifesaver to put it simply, while I believe my current modded setup for Skyrim is stable enough for play, Skyrim is a crash magnet even in the best of conditions and I personally don’t like worrying about when I should save my game in Skyrim so I found a mod to take the responsibly of saving often away. CASM adds a configurable amount of autosaves in addition to the three vanilla autosaves Skyrim makes by default. While CASM is perfectly configurable I just leave the mod’s configuration in its default settings. It autosaves every five minutes so under at most I would lose about five minutes rather than the possibly hours long between my savefiles. It’s the perfect mod for a lazy player like myself.
A Quality World Map And Solstheim Map - with roads by NexusModsCaretaker (didn’t find the original name of the author so sorry)
A must-have as the default map could barely be usable, I don’t even remember what the vanilla map looked like but I’ve used this map mod so much I couldn’t live without it. The main roads will be much easier to read and when I get lost I can find solace in having a functional map that lets me see the main roads much better than the vanilla map.
Cloaks of Skyrim by Nikinoodles
This mod adds cosmetic cloaks and capes to Skyrim, in a cold region having a large cloak would be a natural thought. There are dozens of these cloaks and they all look stylish on the character in the game. My personal favorite ones are the green cloaks as their my favorite color. There are even ones of factions and hold guards.
SkyUI by Schlangster
Absolutely a must-have mod, it requires Skyrim Script Extender (which is pretty much mandatory for modding Skyrim) It removes that janky old menu and replaces it with a sortable menu that really should be the standard for all Skyrim setups. It helps it also works with a gamepad as well.
