Imperfect Game: Osu

Hello and welcome to Imperfect Game, less of a review blog and more an exercise in maintaining my sanity. Today am covering Osu a free rhythm game based on the old classic Elite Beat Agents where you just click on circles as you move your mouse around a screen. The difficulty can range from very easy to very very hard, so there should be something from both casual players and hardcore players alike. While the main game mode is standard; the circle clicking and slider following the game there are also about three other game modes like the super simplistic catch game mode where you move one plate and try to catch falling fruit as you move a character left and right, it’s pretty intense. Another game mode is based on Taiko another popular rhythm game where you hit a drum kind of like the guitar hero games, I don’t have a Taiko drum controller so I mostly passed this mode. Then you have Mania where you basically turn the keyboard into a piano and play the notes that fall down. There is a whole community making new beatmaps for all of these modes and they're all free so there is really no excuse to not be playing this game.
