Imperfect Game: Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart

Welcome to Imperfect Game, less of a review blog and more of an excuse to play video games all day (am actually lying I spend most of today playing a digital tabletop game.) and Today am covering Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart, a game mod of another existing game mod of the Doom engine. The basic rundown is that the game is Mario Kart except this game got Sonic and Sega characters and it's free to download and play on PC. Now am sure you're now thinking “Well if it’s free, then why review it?” well I ask why not and reviewed it anyway. If you’re familiar with Mario Kart then you should be right at home in Sonic Kart (yes am going to call it that.). There are tons of Tracks to race or battle on and the items to use are just as numerous. While I would argue it’s kind of a beginner's nightmare if you just started playing the controls are straightforward on a gamepad and surprisingly good on Keyboard. The roster starts with just four characters Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman who each have different stats and this small roster can be extended with the extra characters mod the game comes with so really there's a bunch of different characters with stats like max speed, weight, and Acceleration. Another feature worth talking about is the thing inherited from the Doom engine, the mod support, some servers use a whole bunch of mods that add new tracks, characters, and even new game modes. The last thing I want to say is that this game is still under development and should update one day in the near future but it’s perfectly enjoyable as it is right now.
