Welcome to Imperfect Game, less of a review blog and more of a public journal about stuff I like. My name is Tommy and today am covering Table Top Simulator. A Virtual tabletop that lets you play all kinds of board games in a 3D environment. To be honest, this is less of a video game and more of a tabletop simulation, It has many different objects and tools packed in to enable anything from simple games like Uno to complex Wargames, I enjoy the complex genres of board games having just finished running a Savage Worlds powered wargame. This simulator doesn’t script out the rules like most other ports of board games on the PC so you are free to use house rules or just plain cheat when you want. The main attraction is the Stream Workshop; a hub where modded content resides that has even more useful tools and even ports of existing games like Sentinels of the Multiverse. While I admittedly don’t play games with friends I still had fun playing solo games on this simulator playing either D&D solo or playing other stuff like staging a battle using minis. While the game was intended to be used with VR after learning the basic controls I was able to navigate around and play whatever game I wanted. I would just recommend keeping it on borderless windowed mode as it’s much faster to Alt-Tab to an open PDF file rather than importing them into the 3d environment taking up space. But am just a solo player so you may need to use the in-game PDF objects. Anyways this was an Imperfect Game and thanks for Reading.
