Imperfect Game: Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2 is such a wonderful class-based shooter, or I guess hero shooter as modern terms would call it and you should play it. it may have a bit of a bot crisis right now, but this game offers many different gameplay modes ranging from Capture the Flag, King of The Hill, Payload where you push a cart proceeding into enemy territory and Control points/Attack and defend Team Fortress 2 offers a lot of options for how to play it.

The Basics work like this each of the nine classes have their own strengths and weaknesses and together with your team of red or blue mercenaries compete for objectives like a suitcase holding enemy intel or even bombing the other team's base with your payload cart. set in the 1960's to 1970's taking inspirations from spy media like James Bond Team Fortress 2 shows a cartoon style world where Australians raise to being the main superpower thanks to a rare gold like metal called Australium.

Each of the nine classes in Team Fortress 2 are fun and charming with character if their silly voice lines are anything to go by. Scout is a knuckleheaded Boston who can double jump and run fast with a shotty, Soldier is the easy to learn hard to master rocket launching damage dealer, Pyro uses a flamethrower to both deal damage and reveal cloaked spies whose job is to be a disruption in the enemy team's plan with disguise and knife skills. the Demoman is a more defense focused explosive class while the Heavy a tank defender of control points and Engineer is a builder of sentry guns as well as health and ammo dispenser. The Sniper is a damage per second beast if you aim well and the Medic heals and sometimes gives a god mode like powerup called uber

If that sounds like a lot understand this excludes the addition of unlock weapons that sometimes change a class into a new playstyle completely like into be a knight with a sword and shield on Demoman or a more combative engineer with a mini sentry gun. in addition to the many weapon loadouts, you can stylize your classes appearance with hats and cosmetics like this PJ set for heavy, Yup Team Fortress 2 is nicknamed the hat simulator game for this reason.
