Imperfect Game: Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith.

Welcome to Imperfect Game, less of a review blog and more of an excuse to play shoot 'em up games all day. Today am covering Touhou 10 Mountain of Faith, I think the story is about another shrine threatening the existing Hakurei shrine and Reimu blasting Yokai on the way to this new shrine and that's about it. It’s in that newish phase of the Touhou Project where a lot of the polish starts to shine. The stages are exciting with fast-paced enemies and patterns that make you move in different ways. The bosses are decent enough though I think two out of six are a bit lame. Minoriko and Hina just didn’t seem that fun or interesting. The rest of the bosses are fair about average when it comes to Touhou bosses not amazing but decent bosses all the same. The two main characters Reimu and Marisa are still there and they each have three shot types. Reimu’s got a homing shot, a forward shot, and a wide shot while Marisa has a laser piercing shot, an ice flamethrower shot that can be left in a part of the screen by holding a button-down, and a shot type that works like a tail with firing guns and can be stopped by holding down a button like the flamethrower one. 1ups are plenty due to a few drops from mid-bosses and getting extends from scoring high enough. The bombs are now tied to the power level of your character, meaning you have to choose to either spend your attack power level to save your hide or risk losing a life and maintain your firepower. Inclosing it’s a pretty good game and a good entry in the Touhou Project series, this has been Imperfect Game and thanks for reading.
