Travelers of the Multiverse # 8

"Another Kaijin has stolen something of valve from a heroic Traveler, an invisible sword named Excalibur which belongs to one of the Light Alter's. Your Mission is to both defeat the Kaijin and reclaim the sword before its misused anymore." Bradford explains.

"An invisible sword?" Ryan asked confused

"I don't suppose we can just refuse, where is the monster located?" Michael asked

"In a city of a low-tech world, we have the coordinates." Bradfold hands them a document containing the directions in space.

"Wherever we go Justice will follow." Dominique says

"Just point us at the monster and we'll deal with them!" Yuna says.

They all reach the city and prepare for combat having grown stronger from past encounters allows the Oddballs to finally shine as Travelers. maybe one day even becoming as Strong as some of the Light Alters.

As the Kaijin rampages four cult members move their way towards the Oddballs. as they close in one of them wild attacks Ryan. but the attack was quickly parried! Michael and Yuna both take aim for a cultist each. Michael kills a cultist with a headshot and Yuna sprayed another cultist to Sweiss cheese. now only two cultists remain alive.

Dominique casted armor granting a magical shell of Armor for Ryan. who then runs up and jump kicks the first cultist in range! knocking the cultist out but will be alive for questioning later?

As the fight drags Ryan combo punches the last standing cult member. he pummeled the cultist so hard the skin on where Ryan strikes turned black and blue! now remains the Boar Kaijin. the rest of the group finally catches up to Ryan just as the Boar Kaijin Swings the sword Excalibur at the brawler nearly damaging Ryan who thankful dodges out of the swords path in time. As a counterattack Michael and Yuna Flank the Kaijin with Revolver and Uzi. Michael shot too wide, but Yuna deals a nasty wound to the Boar Kaijin. Dominique tries to enchant Ryan's Fists with a Smiting blow. Ryan then recovers from being shaken by the Boar Kaijin. Ryan performs a jumping brawler punch at the Boar his fist glow with fiery power. The burning brawler's punch burns the Boar's hide! Next Michael fires his revolver landing a shot that was too weak to pierce the Boar's skin. Yuna fires a volley of lead at the Boar monster. the bullets strike true dealing a third wound to the Boar thief. Dominique rushes down the Boar and strikes with his staff but doesn't harm enough to have an effect. Ryan once again attacks with his empowered fists performing a combo attack that barely defeated the Kaijin. now that combat has ended a wannabe detective interrogates the lone survivor of the fight.

"What's your cult's goals!?" Michael intimidates the cult member with his revolver. this tactic works wonders as the cowardly cult member spills the truth. "We're bringing back the worst scum in the multiverse, it will make the Marik incident look like a school play!"

"Who's responsible for this?" Michael continues

"Oo'Tan the corrupter is our master, and he created an army of Dark Alters to destroy and remake the Multiverse in his image!" The cult member clearly explains.

"Let's take this man back to Traveler's Guild to turn them over to this worlds police." Dominique said.

and so a new mystery is unveiled, Oo'Tan the Corrupter is the leader of the Cult of Dark Alters whose plan seems hell bent on destroying the multiverse by using monsters and Dark Alters to achieve their goals. regardless the invisible Sword is now returned to an anonymous Light Alter.
