Travelers of the Multiverse # 5

These two are your new teammates, I've heard from Yugi Muto that you both struggled to stay off death's door so I thought the extra help would be welcome. This is the Lunarian gunner Yuna and the human Paladin Dominique. "Sup" says Yuna and Dom says, "Hello there." "Okay great, at least we have a strong defender with us now" Michael says "am Ryan, nice to meet you both." said Ryan.

After meeting their two new teammates Ryan and Michael receive their mission briefing for today. everyone must deliver cargo to struggling worlds still recovering after the great multiverse boom from 3 months ago.

And so, the four rookies set out and given an airship equipped with a Traveler's Wrap drive to enable cargo delivery to other worlds. They enter the Falcon's Talon airship and begin their deliver routes. things proceeded nicely with smooth sailing from Ryan (despite not knowing how to fly an airship).

until suddenly a rogue ship started firing at them from a far! Pirates looking to steal their cargo, prepare for battle! but who is attacking was it yet another act of villainy from the cult of Dark Alters? no the ones our rookie heroes are facing are more mundane pirates who just so happen to have jetpacks and are boarding as we speak!

Round 1 of combat starts with one of the jetpack pirates shooting a wide shot. but another pirate manages to trip Michael with a shot to the foot. and yet another two Pirates shoot at Michael but miss. another one of the Pirates wildly attacks Yuna but misses leaving him open for counterattack. another Pirate shots and manages to hit the leg of Yuna shaking her. the last pirate to act misses their shot.

Now it's the rookies turn to act. Yuna recovers from her shot leg and repositions to then shoot a round at the now vulnerable pirate and barely hits them but still manages to strike a vital killing the pirate outright. Michael however is still shaken by his shot foot and simply crawls towards the back end of the ship as much as he could. Ryan seeking to fight the crowd rushes forward closer but not close enough to fight. Dominque uses his healing power to remove the wound dealt to his friend Yuna and successfully removed the wound. Next round of combat one pirate made an extremely lucky shot and hit Michael in the leg twice! two wounds that make fighting hard. Dominque rushes to aid Michael with more healing removing both wounds on his leg. Michael in turn recovers from being shaken and aims his gun at his attacks and fires off a shot...but alas it didn't even damage him. next Ryan moves next to the pirates and attacks but deals no real damage to the pirate. Yuna then headshots the pirate on the right side of the ship.

Round 3 of combat begins and a pirate wildly attacks Ryan, but Ryan was able to block the sword and disarm the enemy. Ryan dodges and parries many attacks at once and has recovered from his past clashes with the enemy.

He throws his trademarked Brawler punch! and uppercuts the pirate sending them back to the sea from where they once came. Next Michael takes aim at another pirate who's Vulnerable and fires a shot at them. Yuna shoots another one but only manages to stun them. Dominque rushes down the same pirate and hits them with a staff downing the enemy pirate.

The pirates lost their numbers advantage and have begun retreating from the air ship the combat ends and the party gains 1000 Traveler's Credits as a reward for fending off the thieves. they finished the cargo deliveries with no continued trouble.
